Here at Word of Life Church & Preschool, we want to provide for you and your family as best we can. You can help us providing blessings for many of the different ages.

Aside from our Christian Preschool, we also offer Sunday School and Family Activities, Senior Opportunities, Women's and Men's Ministries, Scripture Study, and so much more. Children's & Family Ministry
Word of Life Children and Family Ministries serves children 6 months (must be crawling) through High School with activities and educational programs such as Sunday School & Nursery each Sunday, Vacation Bible School in early summer, Children's Christmas and Easter programs and family church events throughout the year. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of being a part of the faith development of your children as they learn about Jesus.
Missions
We are always looking for missions opportunities at home and abroad. We are currently supporting many missions through our national LC-MS church body as well as The Garuna (Grace) Foundation in Cambodia, Thailand and surrounding countries. Mission monies sent to our District and Synod support many additional missions.
Word of Life Christian Preschool
Word of Life Christian Preschool offers a structured curriculum with a Bible based foundation. Our mission helps children develop a love for learning and a heart for Jesus! ​Parents may choose the half day program or let their student spend the day in our Extended Day program. ​Students will experience the award winning Zoo-phonics curriculum, handwriting, music, literacy, arts & crafts, math & science skills, and hands-on activities to prepare for Kindergarten.​ At WOL Preschool we teach a daily Bible lesson with chapel weekly.
Scripture Study
One of the primary ways of getting into the Word is through the Sunday-morning teaching taking place during worship. Pastor Dave's weekly messages are, first and foremost Biblical and balanced. They are practical and relevant to the lives of those who worship with us in person as well as those who listen through the Youtube link on this website. You can also sign up to receive the recording file through your email.
Pastor continually teaches and applies the Word on a daily basis as people contact him with specific questions relating to their life.
This one-to-one format has proved to be very effective and popular with members and guests in our busy society.
Other short-term learning opportunities are provided throughout the year as scheduled.
Sunshine Foster Home
We offer both spiritual and academic support to the children and teens in the Sunshine group foster homes in Surprise. A monthly Sunday School time is provided to help with spiritual, relational and personal growth. A weekly Reading Tutoring Program is also offered for the children to expose them to the benefits of reading while also personally connecting with these people.
Servant Ministries
We are always looking for opportunities to serve the mission of the church through “servant” opportunities get members and friends involved locally and throughout the world. We provide for Choices Pregnancy Center, Orphan Grain Train-Phoenix, Sunshine Foster Homes of Surprise, as well as specific ministries throughout the year through our Church and Preschool.
Senior's Opportunities
This ministry provides monthly spiritual and social opportunities with a Monthly Restaurant outing for all 55+
Women's Ministries
Our Women offer a wonderful support to all of our ministries while planning season events and studies as scheduled. There is an annual, beautiful Christmas Tea and periodic Women's conferences that our women attend in the Valley. Quilters & Sewers meet weekly for Servant & Missions Projects. We are thankful for our "Joyful Womens' Team" and their wonderful support.
Men's Ministries
Our men's ministry has monthly dinners and provides monthly breakfasts for the congregation and families. They support all of the other ministries in a variety of days. They are coordinating regular golf outings with lunch.
Social Ministries
This ministry provides and supports fellowship opportunities throughout the year including; Sunday hospitality, bi-monthly breakfasts on the Patio, Lenten catered dinners, Children’s events for Fall Festival, Christmas & Easter, Cinco de Mayo, Church picnics, and various other events as scheduled,
