“Our Real Freedom”

The Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag:

I pledge allegiance to the Flag

of the United States of America,

and to the Republic for which it stands,

one Nation under God, indivisible,

with liberty and justice for all.

“For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”

Romans 3:23

“And are justified freely by his (God’s) grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

Romans 3:24

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.”

Galatians 5:1

“You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do NOT use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.”

Romans 5:13

“Live as free men, but do NOT use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.”

1 Peter 2:16

Jesus himself said, in Luke 4:18 -

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of the sight for the blind, to release the oppressed.”

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

2 Corinthians 3:17

“In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”
