Jesus: Our Good Shepherd
"I am the good shepherd"
-John 10:14
Jesus said; “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life FOR the sheep. [He does things FOR us] 12 The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. 14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me… 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. [Evangelism] They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd… I lay down my life [Crucifixion]—only to take it up again.” [Resurrection]

16“The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

In a real sense, we are ALL under-shepherds of Jesus as we are all called to lead/point others to Him.
That is the “Great Commission” CO-Mission (Cooperative)
